VISITOR INFORMATION

Panola Medical Center understands family members and friends are an important part of the healing process for our patients and we welcome you to visit. Currently, due to the pandemic, we are only allowing one visitor per patient for the full length of their stay. We have policies and procedures in place to help you and your family work with our doctors, nurses, and staff to get the most from your hospital stay. Please take a few minutes to review these guidelines with your loved ones.

Visitor Guidelines

We encourage visitors for emotional support and recovery, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing one visitor per patient the entire length of stay. To provide a restful and safe environment, we ask that all visitors comply with the following guidelines:

Be considerate of other patients by keeping noise to a minimum.

Refrain from visiting if you have a cold, sore throat, or any contagious disease.

Observe “No Visiting” and precaution signs before entering the room.

 

Do not smoke or use tobacco products.

Panola Medical Center is a completely Tobacco-Free hospital. The use of tobacco products on hospital grounds is strictly prohibited. You can contact our free Tobacco Cessation Hotline at (662) 712-1472 for information on quitting.

Leave the room during tests or treatments if asked.

 

Visiting Hours

 

 

Hospital patients in departments other  Maternity can generally receive visitors 24/7 unless otherwise notified.

Lost and Found

If you misplace or find any items during your stay at Panola Medical Center,

please contact our Front Desk at (662) 563-5611.

Fire Safety

We periodically conduct fire drills. If you hear an alarm, stay where you are. In the event of an actual emergency, hospital staff will notify you.

ATM

For your convenience, an automated teller machine (ATM) is located in our Emergency Department.

Meals

Patients are provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner from our dietary department, which can be reached at (662) 712-2241. 

Panola Medical Center Cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital and is accessible from the elevators adjacent to Outpatient Surgery and the Panola Medical Center Women’s Clinic. Visitors are welcome to dine in the cafeteria.

Breakfast: 7 – 10 a.m.

Lunch: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
