Panola Medical Center Chaplains Association
Panola Medical Center Chaplains Association exists to spiritually support Panola Medical Center. We have a commited team of volunteer chaplains. These chaplains are dedicated to assisting with the spiritual needs of patients and their families as well as our medical staff. We pray for patients and/or their family members before surgery and then check on them afterward. Our chaplains simply spend time listening to people who need someone to talk to about their physical and spiritual worries. We believe that spiritual care is an integral part of the patients successful recovery.
Panola Medical Center Chaplains Association aims to provide proper support and help in spiritual and crisis situations. With the various local churches working together we can make arrangements for those of different faiths. Our hospital chapel is always open 24 hours for those who seek a quiet place. We conduct a brief chapel service on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. for both staff and patients able to attend. We also endeavor to reach out into and connect with the people in our local community.
You can contact us through our Chaplain Coordinator at (662)-712-2237 or (662)-609-5850 from 8 a.m to 4 p.m., Monday - Friday, or through the hospitals operator. In the case of an emergency we always have chaplains on-call.
